With Flaco Jimenez of the Texas Tornadoes at Gstaad

 2001. I had the after-concert gig in the tent next to the Concert Hall of the Gstaad Country Festival where the Texas Tornadoes were really tearing it up (much to the chagrin of of a big country star with a pulled down hat who had to follow them). I had met the keyboardist Augie Myers a couple times at the Lone Star Cafe in NYC, and had played with Flaco a couple nights before at the Artist party so I was lucky enough (with the help of a couple big bourbons) to entice them to sit in with us even though they had just finished a long show next door. We played forever together that night. I remember Flaco liked a song I made up onstage called "Have Another Beer".
