Rocking Out With Adolph Ogi, Swiss President

 Kandersteg is not a large town-even for Switzerland, so I was very surprised one night when we arrived to play at the town hall and the place was jammed to the rafters. I asked what the deal was, and I was told that local guy Ogi had just been elected President of Switzerland! When he showed up and came onstage to shake my hand, I asked him if he wanted to sing and he did! We improvised a blues and the whole place was yelling/singing "Ogi,Ogi,Ogi!" The next day we had our picture in all the papers and my manager told me we had to put that song on the record we were recording at the time. Our bass player Danny Counts helped finish the song by rhyming "Kandersteg" with "Wanderweg".
